Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses Clubstance. It exists to keep the platform safe and reliable for every gym on it — Clubstance is multi-tenant infrastructure, so abuse by one account can affect others.
1. Messaging rules (WhatsApp, SMS, email)
- Message only people who have a genuine relationship with your gym — members, staff, and leads who gave you their contact details.
- No purchased contact lists, no cold spam, no unsolicited bulk marketing. Honour opt-outs promptly.
- WhatsApp messages must comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging and Commerce policies; violations can get your gym's WhatsApp access suspended by Meta, which we cannot reverse.
- Marketing communications must comply with applicable telecom regulations (including TRAI's commercial-communication rules where they apply).
2. Prohibited content
Do not upload or publish (including on your public gym page) content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harassing, or infringes another's intellectual property or privacy.
- Contains malware or attempts to phish or deceive.
- Includes personal data you have no lawful right to hold — including a minor's data without verifiable guardian consent.
3. Prohibited conduct
- No attempting to access other tenants' data, probe or bypass access controls, or interfere with the service (rate-limit evasion, scraping at scale, denial of service).
- No reverse engineering, reselling, or white-labelling the platform without our written agreement.
- No using Clubstance to run a business that is itself unlawful.
- No misrepresenting your identity or affiliation when using messaging or public pages.
4. Security testing
We welcome responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities — see the Security page for scope and safe-harbour terms. Outside that process, do not run security scans, penetration tests, or load tests against the platform without written permission.
5. Enforcement
We may remove content, throttle features, or suspend accounts that violate this AUP — with notice and a chance to remedy where reasonable, or immediately where the violation creates risk for others. Serious violations may be reported to authorities. To report abuse by a Clubstance customer, use our Grievance Redressal page.
